Joy Golden JOY GOLDEN - Much like the 'Peggy Olson" character in the TV show 'MAD MEN" Joy Golden started her advertising career in 1952 at the bottom of the hierarchy in the copywriting world of BBDO, a major ad agency. Over the years – and eleven other agencies – her talent for writing copy for everything from bras to Buicks, Joy who was a natural comedian, opened her own business at 55 - a humor-based radio commercial company called Joy Radio. Launched by a campaign for Laughing Cow Cheese, Joy's work landed "a million" awards and a permanent place in the Museum of Television and Radio, which she says "was the happiest moment since my second divorce."
